For more than 20 years Access Travel has been serving the disabled community arranging accessible holidays to various destinations in Europe and Florida.

We can provide a wide variety of accommodation from self-catering holiday homes in France to luxury 5 star hotels in Lanzarote. Few of these properties have been designed for independent living but they have been inspected by a member of our staff to ensure that they meet the requirements of wheelchair users. We can discuss each of them to ensure they meet with your particular needs. Most of the bathrooms feature wheel-in showers whilst hoists, showers chairs and other equipment can be arranged in most places.

The Canary Islands are our most popular destination featuring in particular the islands of Tenerife and Lanzarote. Lanzarote is growing in popularity as we offer the superb Nautilus Bungalows or enjoy the comfort of your own villa with its own private pool or alternatively the magnificent 5 star Princesa Yaiza Hotel with its luxury suites. On the island of Tenerife we have a wide variety of properties from the Mar y Sol complex which has specialist services and apartment style rooms to 4 star Hotels such as Noelia Sur, Vulcano or Zentral. Or enjoy selfcatering in the Beach Houses or the Parque Cristobal Complex. Holidays are also available on Fuerteventura and Grand Canaria itself.

We offer several different options in mainland Spain - two excellent 4 star hotels providing half-board accommodation situated directly on the sea front in Fuengirola and Islantilla. The Montana Sol in Torremolinos has been specially designed to welcome disabled guests and provides all meals including wine with your dinner. The small hotel Tikar in the quiet resort of Garrucha offers family service.

In the eastern Mediterranean the Island of Cyprus has a number of good 4 star hotels in Paphos plus the unique self-catering studios and apartments in the little village of Polis where all rooms have wheel-in showers, and the swimming pool has a hoist for ease of access. In Crete an excellent small hotel has been designed round the needs of wheelchair users providing an accessible minibus for transfers and sightseeing, a ramped pool and a gym with specialised exercise equipment.

For those who want to savour the theme parks of Florida we have a beautiful 4 bedroom villa with wheel-in showers and its own swimming pool to enjoy.

Limited care and nursing services are available in Tenerife, Lanzarote and Torremolinos.
