Caring for a loved one, but feeling in need of a break?

Paladin Life Respite Breaks was born out of the personal experience of caring for an elderly relative and finding no options to have a holiday combined with help.

A holiday or just a few days respite - whatever you choose, we aim to provide complete peace of mind and make your stay with us feel special.  If accompanying your loved one, we want to ensure you are able to spend quality time together, sharing a wonderful experience and creating memories to treasure.  Or if you prefer a few days apart from each other, then entrust them into our care, giving you peace of mind to enjoy some time on your own.

Our beautiful and luxurious house - No.22, is located on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon, offering spectacular views, and is equipped to a high standard where you will find everything you need during your break.  We want everyone who stays with us to feel utterly pampered, with an opportunity to indulge in some luxury treats.

We can provide one to one care on a daily basis, which could include personal care, preparation of meals, accompanied trips out and more.  A few hours to a whole week, including night time cover - we can tailor make a package of care to suit your individual needs and wishes, providing as much or as little support as you require.

Flexibility and exclusive use of the house means stays can be from as little as one night to a whole week.  The house includes accessible items to help you enjoy your time with us.  We have electric beds in two of the bedrooms and electric rise and recline chairs in the living areas.  Remote controls are provided for all the televisions, the Sky TV, the sound system and even the fire.  There is a remote controlled battery operated bath chair and a stair lift.  A gentle ramp leads into the house and another into the garden and on to the patio.  We can also arrange the hire of a mobility scooter to aid in the enjoyment of your trips outside of the house, and any other items you may require.
